I was pulling weeds in the fenceline with mom many years ago. Near the last 100 feet to go of 3/4 mile of fence. Weed kinda in the fence. Mom said she'd hold the electric away with the wood-handled knife she had. I reached in, and something slipped (or so mom swore....) and somehow the barb of the electric wire stuck into me, deep. Wow, they aren't kidding that skin is a bit of an insulator, direct-injected fencer is a real treat!
