Well first off check your spark and make sure it is a good blue/white and will jump a 1/4 inch gap. Ya I know sounds funny but could be your problem. Next pull the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you get a good steady flow of gas there you float might be sticking some causing you that problem Or the main jet is clogged up from the gas going bad in the carb and you may need to rebuild the carb
