More flashbacks that you or nobody else really cares about....... I grew up on a dairy farm where we raised all the cow feed. We had many of acres of alfalfa and back then we did it with a New Holland 269 small square baler and a John Deere "G" in front of it. There were many of days that dad, my two brothers and myself would put put alfalfa from sunrise to well after sunset. My dad motto was to always treat the "hayers" fairly well, but he was extremely cheap. Anyway, he would have the beer iced down by 8:00 A.M., we were probably drinking it by 8:30 A.M., and he made sure we never ran out of beer. The thing was it was the absolute cheapest beer he could find. Does anybody remember the generic food fad? This was where the package of food (or whatever) was plain white and the description of the item was stenciled in black. His beer of choice was BEER beer. It was a white can with the words "BEER" stenciled (well, it looked that way anyway) on the can. I do remember it was made by Falstaff (printed in small letters on the side of the can) and it always gave me a headache before the first can was finished. Those were the days when I was young and invincible.
