Thanks George. I took the breather assembly off and instead of idling for a for 20 sec and quitting, it would stay running with the choke on or with the choke off and the throttle full open. Sprayed a lot of carb cleaner in it with little to no improvement. The one thing that seems unusual is that it seems to be blowing out the intake side of the carb vs. sucking??? Not a full time engine mechanic, but that does not seem right. Think maybe I have a valve or timing problem??? Still think it is a fuel issue though with all the dirt that got into the carb.
Replaced the plug and check spark so that is not the problem.
We keep this inside also, but my kids have taken it muddin' a couple times and then we pressure washed it...no one seems to know how the hole got in the intake cover...go figure..
