I usually wear mine but I see all these motorcycles going by my house every day and think to myself, how can the government mandate wearing them and yet you drive a motorcycle with absolutely no protection or chance at all to survive a crash and that is just fine. I got pulled over in Wa. one time in a little town speed trap. Was going to hit me up for $125 for going 35 in a 25 mph speed zone. You come around a corner looking at the 35 mph sign and it turns into 25 and their he sat. Anyway, he saw my wife sitting in back of the pickup without her belt on and fined her $100 bucks. He said he would only write us up for one offense, the speeding ticket which would go on my record or the belt one which wouldn't. We took the belt one.
