So do any of you older guys understand what I am talking about and how this is done?? Say you have 2 or 3 old dead tractors so you take the 2 or 3 of them and build one good one but you do not buy much if any new parts to do so. Sort of like they had to do back in the 30s and 40s when you grand fathers farmed. I have spent the last few weeks trying to do an old school rebuild and believe me it has been fun and more fun then doing a rebuild with new parts and one heck of a challenge to boot. No new gaskets, no new parts but a lot of mix and match stuff and a lot of hope it fits and meets spec.
