I wouldn't necessarily call the person who died "stupid". Inexperienced maybe. What he DID was not "smart", but he probably didn't know any better. May have been the 1st time he's tried to pull a stump with a tractor, may have pulled them out before with his pickup, who knows. There are lots of times when I'm rigging something up that I haven't done before or attempting to accomplish something with the tools at hand that I stop and think about what could possibly go wrong. I can recall several instances where I said "oh,oh" and rethunk my approach. :wink:
