The super 55 is a 1957; the -518 in that case is a transmission code. The specification tells what options the tractor has, the 25 means super 55. I think that the 88 would be a 1952, non-super Rowcrop. Were there spaces in the number, or were they strung together? (I presume that you got the number from the serial number plate??? Where was it located?) If it was a '52, it would have disc brakes unlike earlier versions...
