When you go to get hydraulic oil for a older ford, you have to specify to the person you are buying it from that you want GL-1 90 Wt Mineral oil. I get mine from my local NAPA Store. It does not matter if it is a auto parts store or a tractor dealership. The person behind the counter won't know what oil you need. As for your problem with the hyd. take one of the side covers off and look inside to make sure the main spring that is attached to the control linkage and the back of the lift cylinder is still there. If not, with tractor not running feel around the bottom of the housing for it and hook it back in place.
