Hi gun guru: Buying IPO's is a gamble anytime but with a history like GM, it's even higher risk. During the 1990's and the hot Stock Market the High Tech companies were a better IPO bet but each person can do as they see fit. I do a lot of short term trading and have been in stocks for just over 40 years. I'll pass on GM. Why risk GM when Ford stock has been doing well. Do as you see fit.. ag.
