We have not had a real tree in twenty years or more. We have had several artificial ones. The one we have now is a seven foot two piece tree. The limbs are hinged. So you stand the bottom up and then fold down the limbs. Then put the top half on and do the same thing. It looks very good when it is up. PLUS the wife"s cats don"t tear it up like they used to our real ones. They still climb this one but it seems to hold up better.
