I am constantly amazed at the beautifull pictures here o Y.T. I was wondering if any of the folks here ever heard of a fellow named Silas P.Malander?Hope i got that name spelled correctly. This gentleman bought out several peoples old Plates depicting most every core of life including cival war solders, Indians, loggers, farmers, you name it, his books have it,those pictures has the same quality as those displayed here ,except the ones on here are in color. I still say they would be an asset to the calander makers. These fellows have talent way beyond most folks. I sure don"t have that talent but wish I did. Wondering why they don"t have em in Book form like mr Phelanders. (SP) What you think? I"m greatfull they take their time in giving us these magnificiant pictures, plus YT forum for allowing their display. Reguards LOU
