Very true. Neighbors kept a CA Allis and Manure spreader in the center of the dairy barn when milking cows in the 60's and 70's. Hand load the spreader and haul the manure out and the tractor always started because it was in where it was warm. Tractor was VERY rusty when the cows where sold. The barn life was not good for it at all. It ran ok but all the sheet metal was like swiss cheese.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
