I had one when they were badged Olympic . I bought it 20 yrs. ago . Went to Sthil dealer to get a mid size saw and he told me the saws I was looking at would not last like a Olympic as they were all made as pro saws . I was selling alot of wood the first 10 yrs. of its life . He gave me a 029 sthil to use while he ordered my new saw and it ran and cut good but could not hold a candle to that olympic of comparable size . It just gave it up last winter after cutting lots and lots of wood every yr. All I can say is they used to make a real good saw dont know about now . I went out and found me a good used olympic to replace it to go along with my big Jonsered . They are alittle heavyer than others but they have more metal and less plastic in them .
