And, if you think it will be a cushy job--send the kids to day care, the hubby, or wife, to work, get a dedicated computer line, not a phone line like the one you use for your telephone, cover the down-stairs windows, and tell folks you are going to Alaska for the winter!
You can't use the same phone line that you get calls on. It doesn't work, because, as soon as you get into a long series of pages you are sending in to the job place, somebody will call you with the intention of gabbing about what they did last night, and then you will have to start the whole thing all over again! BT/DT!
This from an old Geezer, who early on said: I'll never buy one of those new-fangled cornputers, at my age!(60 at the time!)
Also, unless the job is set in stone, and you know who the work is being done for--do not bite on it! There are charlatans out there, just waiting for your name, address, phone number, SS number, and any other info you send them! And, its all "down-hill" from then on! Beware. And, go get a legitimate land based job. Those "Work from home" so-called jobs are just a fishing expedition to get info, so they can either steal, or load your computer with their tracking devices, or worse. Scammers are a tricky bunch! And, giving them their foot in your computer, is not what you want!

Today's Featured Article - Gatherin of the Orange - by Rick Nikolich. In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999. He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana. ... [Read Article]
