Well what good timing. My brother and I are done working for the year, until next April 11. My brothers friend has a 45 acre wood lot he is gonna log, foresster marked the trees for him. Theres alot of white oak, red oak and hickory. But its on a pretty steep hill. Well we have our atv;s a 1920 ford tractor and a JCB 4wd backhoe to use, so in exchange for helping my brothers friend, hes gonna give all the firewood we want, tops, trees that are in the way, dead trees, ect. Im gonna start helping this comming week, as they have already started, and asked for my help today, but it all depends on the weather???. The guy needs 70 logs to make a truck load, he said he has 330 saw logs marked in there, so plenty of fire wood to go around. I will try to post some pics if we can get in there next week. j
