Just thought Id ask before I take my truck to my mechanic friend, does anybody know how to stop the truck from that annoying beeping when you leave you key in the ignition, and door is open? Its a 2000 f250. My Dakota, I can pull the key out some and it stops beeping, but in the Ford the key will fall out as it has to come out so far to stop the stupid chime. I wanna cut the wire to it, as I dont think a fuse runs just the chime. Im also gonna look in my manuals and see what that says, maybe I can find the wire for the chime in there. Prolly just a nightmare.?? Has anybody done this before. Thanks JayinNY.
