Let me give you an example of what goes on here. When I was a kid, Pappy and Grand-dad ran a farm equipment repair shop specializing in Farmalls. We were somewhat of a "sub-dealer" for the main IH dealer in the far northern end of the county.
In the winter, farmers would come in and warm up around the old Cannon Heater, the coal-fired pot-bellied stove in the parts department. They'd talk about the weather, they'd talk about their families, they'd tell jokes, they'd talk politics occasionally...and once in awhile they'd even ask about [and sometimes buy] parts and repairs for their tractors.
So from what I see here, this place is an extension of the old tractor shop where I grew up, minus the pot-bellied stove and the smell of grease. And even back 50 years ago, sometimes somebody would ask a question that the collective knowledge and wisdom gathered around that Cannon Heater simply couldn't answer.
So either live with it, or live without it. Pretty simple, if you ask me. Life's too short to go around complaining about stuff that you can't change; so either change the part you can change, or live with the stuff you can't change.
