I've had several surgeries from Pancreas to Kidney, to Pituitary Gland (Deep Brain surgery to remove a tumor) and Parathyroids removed. I have a non-curable disease that can only be held at bay by having surgery as a preventive form of it spreading. All my surgeries had high risk factors involved,.. including not waking up from the operating table. But by the grace of God I'm still here,..and believe it or not in pretty good health considering all I,ve been through. I always made sure I had surgeons I could trust in and took control of my health by making decions based on what I felt and NOT on what others thought I should do.
