The first generation were a converted 350 gas block with pump boss added running a machined 455 crank. Many issues with block rigidity and machining tolerances, inadequate fule filtration and owners not understanding that injected water does nto burn and will stop a pistong breaking a crank. The later ones had many updates, thicker main webs, etc, and pretty reliable. They are much sought after for converting to gas race motors as the block is about 200% stronger on the bottom end than a stock 350 gas.
