I grew up during the time when neighbors were neighbors and worked together. Threshing grain silo filling, blocking up wood to split. I do not know if anyone kept track of time. I do know if you did do your share you may not be in the ring. There was a lot of farm work done by the threshing ring. People cooperated for everyones good. Maybe you pitched bundles, maybe you furnished a team and wagon and hauled bundles. Does not work today. To many people do not know what a neighbor is. girib
