Me Neither ,, 1st one I saw was at N-Farm machinery show 1972, mounted on a hub of a new FORD Truck ,, Dad told the fella runnin it "It looked to be a good way to GET SCREWED ,. 10 yrs later i was helping to get a bid started at auction , bought a 3pt hitch design nearly like new for $25,,. Dad asked me "if it was painted Red or was that Just Blood ?" ,,,.. WE never splitted alone ,AND , Rarely did it seem Dangerous , BUT THE POTENTIAL WAS ALWAYS THERE . and you ONLY NEED ONE EVENT TO RUIN OR END YOUR LIFE ... Sold it the Next season and made 150 bucks.... ,, I got Lucky ... The Big Wheel Idea COULD BE SOUND ,IF A Table MECHANIM WAS CREATED to SWING in Mechanically, Keeping Hands and limbes VERY FAR AWAY ,, youGuys couldCome up with Better economical Ideas that are not complicated for safety of the wheel splitter if you needed to ... ,,, Last year someone posted a BALER FLYWHEEL SPLITTER that Seemed EQUALLY dangerous ...
