Got to lookin' this morning at the tail lights. Found out son's dog ate the trailer plug off the back. Only two wires left, tail light circuit and left turn circuit. As they were bare and touching together, explains why dash lights were reverting to "lights on" dim setting when using left turn or brake lights.
