Can't speak for one that new. I've got an 85 with a 6.9 with better than 195,000. The local Ford mechanic tells me if I ever replace it though,look for a 7.3. Says they're indestructable. On that 85,I figure as long as the only things that ever go wrong are things that can be unbolted and replaced,it's good for the rest of my lifetime.
