Well---no, I don't wear cowboy boots and haven't since childhood.
I do wear western style boots however. The difference you ask? I don't think of myself as a cowboy even though I've owned up to 110 head of cattle at a time.
I like the fit and comfort of western boots and when I left the farm and began working as a letter carrier for the USPS the guys snickered at me for wearing boots and said I'd be sorry. Nope, it was what I was used to and I continued to wear them until I received my first uniform allowance and paid for shoes.
I currently wear Ariat Western Heritage style round toes in black cherry color. They are a great boot in my opinion and probably the most comfortable ones I've ever had, also the most costly.
