I have a LeggBelt book at the shop and will try and look up your model today. We put wider belts on a 430 JD years ago and you will have to widen the guides and there will be at least 3 sets of them. While you have the belts off, it is a good time to recondition the guides with a welder and grinder.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
