Way too big, even with quack shovels on it. Go to a ducktooth like 4-6 inch (tilling the full width) and you"re turning a lot more dirt- pulls harder. Better to slim down and run at a decent speed. Helps to get through wet spots as well. Later machines have more depth (ie, more space between ranks) and handle trash better- especially if you want to FC bean stubble. Renters late model IH likes to rip tires with the shovels- usually one or more per season.
