had something happen also in those lines. went to check on a car thats registered to me, but not in my posession.( long story). but anyhow asked if this car is registered and on road. she said cant give out that info. then she said do you want to register it ? i said no just want to check on it. then she looks me in the eyes an askes, do you want to register this car? then my lights went on and i said yes. then she says yes its ok to register. which was telling me the ex. did not forge a bill of sale so she could put it on the road in her name. she was smiling and i said ya some days i am kinda slow.
