I can agree that old equipment can be dangerous in the wrong hands but so can new equipment. I don't know where you live, but in the Northeast many cannot afford to buy until it is even older than 2-3 years. Many wouldn't or couldn't even consider a combine until it was at least 20-30 years old. A few very large farmers can probably buy new but what small operation can afford to buy a new combine for 40-50 acres of oats or a new chopper for 40-50 acres of corn? You had better get a realistic outlook on life and finances as they really are.
