Don't live in Missouri, but have some vacant lots. Each year the Barry county assessor sends the list. On this you are to state how many chickens, bales of hay and anything else other than the wife and kids. I know of people to keep shedded anything not in use to avoid the drive byes eyes. See in the Iowa today farmer paper that a guy is trying to get the paper work stated for '12 to get rid of the assessor list. This just switches the shoe to the other foot and house tax will move from the hundreds to the thousands of dollars. Still have the same amount show up at the court house under a new title. Wonder if all the big round bales get recorded?
