J disconnect battery and let the computer reset. check the fuel/water filter. I know, it has a lite to tell you when its full of water. Sometimes doesn"t work right. There is a site for Ford diesel problems called intellidog.com. That guy is a retired Fd diesel mechanic I think. Might look it up and see if his instructions covers your problem. HTH
