The Terex machines were Fermec machines before Terex bought them. Fermec was bought by Case and then Case sold to Terex. The "Fer" in Fermac is reference to Massey "Fer" guson. The Terex machines are essentially newer models of Massey Ferguson designed backhoes from the mid to late 90's and probably have had some improvements over the years. They don't have all the bells and whistles and electronics of a lot of more common brands but are good backhoes. MF has a long history in TLB's. Paying thousands less for a less complicated machine can be a good thing. Terex is huge so support for their machines shouldn't be a problem. Dave
