We got about 1/2 in. of ice here in S.E. Indiana . I had put out enough round bales that I did nt need to try to get out Tuesday but had to go yesterday . I have a hard enough time walking on dry ground I sure did nt like the Idea of hitting the ice . I took a old pair of leather boots and screwed drywall screws down through the soles around the edges and it worked like a charm . Never even sliped the first time but the floormat in the truck kept getting hungup on them . Put the Tire chains on the 4x4 and the chores went pretty smooth . We have a couple in. snow on the ice now and it actualy gives ya a little traction . Everybody be careful and check on your naighbors , It will be march before ya know it .
