I'm west of Ft. Worth. We still got 4+ inches on the ground. No ice just snow. Temp was 9 night before last and 10 last night. The highest temp I've seen the last two days is 18. I don't remember weather like this since 1949. Usually hits and warms right up and the snow melts, not this time. In 49 US 80, now I20 was closed for the better part of 3 days, course in them days Hwy Dept. didn't have the equipment to clear the roads and there wasn't a steady stream of 18 wheelers to beat the snow off the road. We didn't have Gobal warming in those days to keep us warm either.
