Nancy, I'm about 200 miles south of you in the Conroe area. I'm a substitute teacher at one of the area high schools. I have a job scheduled for tomorrow to cover for one of the tennis coaches who has a tournament. One tournament was canceled yesterday (16 degrees)and I'm expecting all schools in the area to be cancelled tomorrow. They are predicting three plus inches of snow, sleet and freezing rain by late tonight and early tomorrow. There is probably nothing more dangerous than a school bus driven by a Texan on snow and ice. This is pretty flat country down here but most of these bus drivers have no experience in snow and ice. I've driven a school bus in snow and it got a little squirrely at times. There will probably see a near total shut down of Houston tomorrow. Continental Airlines has already announced that they are suspending flights as of 3 PM today. I don't know what we'd do if we had any real winter.
