I have never been into guns much, I have left that department up to my two brothers.
However somewhere out there is a Henry rifle and a pistol and I would love to have. The pistol had the initials R.R.D. on the handle, the Henry rifle probably little different than others.
They belonged to my gg uncle who was murdered in Montana in 1864. He, Rudolph Dorsett, and John White attempted to bring in a man to stand trial for horse theft among other charges. The man managed to get untied and killed both.
