barn E, Oh the fun we had. One of our plants was 40' tall and we had what we called crank ups which were later powered with an electric motor. The platforms on them were about 3' X 5' and we had one would go up almost to the ceiling. They had out riggers on each side As they went up and each section raised they would tilt and sway. One time another guy and I went up to the top and a guy on the roof handed us a motor down through a hatch. That was a rickety ride and scared the cr@p out of me and was the last time that I ever did that. We had to have another guy down below to watch for someone running a bridge hoist into us and knocking us over.
