The D is finnaly near completion and am in need of the stacks. As you know the D (deere) has cast elbows that the stack ataches to. They take a 4 inch stack and need to be about 38" high. Now i need opinions on how they can be atached to the elbow. A friend makes stainless milk tankers and told us to heat the stack then slip it on and cool it down. We attempted with a piece we had laying around and it sorta worked but sample piece was to thick. Do you think the 1 1/2" of elbow will be tall enough to support a 4X38" stack? Or do you have a better method? Also where would be a reasonable place to purchase stack?
