Ran into some folks I had never met before in the grocery store Saturday, husband and wife, and she says to me that he lost his job two years ago and she had been carrying things by herself, but now that he's working they were able to pickup a couple of treats for their dogs, and they were both smiling from ear to ear. I turned to the husband and asked supportively "You just got a job" to make sure I heard what I heard, and he smiled and said "Yes, finally". He added that he would be tripping over the two huge bones for their golden retrievers. I don't wish the guy any harm or ill will, but he seemed happy about tripping over them bones, so I hope to heck that he did. May God bless them all.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
