I learned the hard way not to clean the area around my eyes with mineral spirts too. Painted a grain bin with a sprayer and a little wind last year. I looked like the tin man when I was done. I just wiped the area around my eye with the stuff. I was ok but I'll never do that again. I was mainly just in alot of pain because of the senitive nerves around that area. I did not get it directly in my eyes though, Thank God.
