You're just getting into my territory, now- I've got a champagne appetite on a beer income, my dad said- I like luxury cars, but not about to shell out 30 or 40 K for a new one- so I buy nice 100k cars and run them to about 225, then look for another one. Just got a '98 Buick Park Avenue, 109k miles, for $2,500, to replace the '95 Lincoln Continental that just turned 216k. Paid 4k for Mr. Lincoln 6 years ago, will probably get 1,800 for it. That's $30 per month "cost of ownership"- can't beat that with a stick!
