My '06 Chevy 2500 just passed 463,000, drive train all original, including auto trans with original fluid, still never been in a shop. Half those miles towing, the other half always hauling. 1 water pump, (at 400,000), 1 alternator, (425,00), 2 wheel bearings/hubs, (300,000 and 400,000), spark plugs at 200,000, third set going in today. Other than that, all original. My Chevy is flat-out bulletproof. I'll pass a half million in late May, June.
Will be paid off in November. Am I upside down?
Some say Lucas is snake oil, but I've kept it in my oil, tranny, rear end, and fuel, and I've got to think it's made a difference. I wonder if the Lucas fuel additive helps keep the fuel pump lubricated?
