Wrigley is enjoying our nice spring weather as well as myself. Calves are starting to come pretty regular now and that will get really busy in hurry. We are starting a fence building project. Some lot fence that needs replaced before calving gets super busy. Chores get more complicated every day as we deal with new calves and cows that are near calving. Have a bull with a bad leg in the barn that is on the mend and that requires a few extra minutes everyday. LOTS of manure to spread and the ground is finally solid enough to run on after another warm breezy day today but the fence project will have to come first. We are going to start setting corners and braces posts in the morning. Two day time meetings this week will have to be attended and a bull sale friday evening. The 4630 needs about another day of work and can be placed back into service at last. Ten days of nice weather and we will make a dent into our projects. We have been trying to enjoy the last fleeting moments of free time as spring rapidly approaches. There will be many long days between now and when the crops are harvested and the cows are back home next fall. With wrigley at my side I am planning to enjoy each and every one of them. bill
