hfarmall, there is a very fine suction screen located in the reservoir top cover. This screen is about an inch and a half in diameter and ten inches long and is probably colapsed and drawn in. To check it the top of the hydraulic reservoir must be lifted off[picture an upside down shoe box] so the oil must be sucked out first as there is no drain plug. The top is eighteen inches square and four or five inches thick and is kinda awkward and heavy. I replaced mine with coarser screen type that required some grinding to make it fit. On top of the reservoir there is a little air breather[under the seat] that allows water to get in the oil if the tractor is outside much. This generally what causes the original screen to restrict flow. Good-luck.....Ron
