Mel, in the 85 series case tractor, re 485 and 585 series in the years form 85 to 90, there are 2 pumps in the system. One they call the transfer pump and the other one is hydraulic pump on the back side of the MCV valve. so my question is what does the transfer pump supply oil to? I presume it lubes the transmision and the differintial. Does it also supply oil for the brakes or p/s or do they get there supply from the hyd pump. Thanks, Brian
