Started farming on my own in 1964. (I must be one of those REALLY OLD GEEZERS) Neighbor 3 miles up the road had farm auction. Bought his 1951 Ollie 99 for $670 (don't know why I remember that, I can't remember what I had for breakfast 3 hrs ago). Also remember buying his 1951 JD Van Brunt drill for $110. The ol ollie was a decent tractor, but having been raised on Deeres, I traded it for an 820 a few years later and it turned out to be an excellent tractor, wish I still had them both.
