Dad and I bought a new AC 6060 together. Factory cab, AC, stadium lights, the works. But that was a screw up. We should have bought the 6080, then maybe one of us would have kept it. When we quit working together, we sold it. It put out so much more power than advertised we were afraid of the rear end. It was also a screw up in that it was a "safe harbor lease"-purchase at the end of five years for a dollar. IRS decided retroactively they didn't like it, and changed the law. So, given that we split the cost, I got credit off my half for a trade in, and now the whole deal had to be re-calculated for a higher residual, it was a real mess! That was undoubtedly the closest I'll ever be to a new tractor.
