Not far from where I live, there was a 12 acre peach farm. The owner stated, a few years ago, that he could expect one good year out of three. If the weather didn't cause damage the insects did. He was interview on local TV and he said it had been five years since he had made a profit and he would find another way to make a living.
Just sad to drive by that piece of property and see all the fruit trees gone :cry:
