Nearly had a tragdy like that here today. The old order Amish who tap my woods were getting ready to make the last gather and pull up taps. While they were getting ready, three toddlers played on the wagon. something spooked the horses. they ran 4/10th of a mile down the road to another amish farm where they ran into a fence corner and stoped, fortunatly, the kids all held on and the only injury was a bloody nose and a couple of teeth knocked out.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
