Is it brewers grain, or distillers grain? They're two different things, and you seem to be using the two terms interchangeably. Distillers grain has very little carbs left, as that's what makes the alcohol. Brewer's grain is a lot higher in carbs.
I suspect it is distillers grain, because I don't see how it would be economically feasible to dry brewer's grain (malt), and at least around here, there was always far more demand for it (from dairymen) than supply, so why dry it?
